You can put almost anything in a skip, including:
The items we cannot accept include hazardous waste, oils, asbestos, car oil, chemicals, pesticides, solvents and appliances that contain ozone-depleting substances. For further advice, call our experts today.
We offer a range of skip sizes, so no matter what scale your project is, we’ll have a service for you. If you’re planning minor renovations, you may want to know when to hire a mini skip. If you’re expecting a large amount of waste, our builders and maxi skips are sure to do the job.
The length of time you can keep a skip depends on where it will be positioned. If you situate it on your own land, you can hire a skip for as long as you need one. If you need to position it on a road or public land, a permit will be necessary which we can arrange on your behalf. A permit typically lasts for 28 days, though an extension can be applied for, and the time and cost of extensions vary from town to town.
